SlingCLS.jpg (12388 bytes) A Walkabout™ harness is an alternate means of supporting the rear or front limbs of your pet when it has difficulty ambulating The harness is generally indicated as a temporary means of support or for pets that are not strong enough to handle an independent two wheels cart.

(406) 995-3111		 The Walkabout™ Harness is made of a durable washable neoprene material.  There are two holes through which the front or rear legs are inserted.  (One hole for amputees.)  The sling material then wraps over the back or shoulder area with a Velcro attachment.  Two handles help you support your pet.

  • Post surgical rehabilitation: Pelvic fractures, Spinal fractures, Knees.
  • Forelimb weakness with either some or no mobility in the rear limbs.

  1. Measure pet according to directions below.
  2. Determine size and price of harness needed from chart.

Measurement Instructions:   Please measure snugly.  Take measurements with pet standing and being supported with weight off the legs.  Slings are non-refundable, but can be exchanged if returned in new condition.
  1. Measure the circumference of the body directly in front of the rear legs.
  2. Circumference of the rear leg at the point where it meets the body.
  3. Measure the circumference of the body directly behind the front legs.
  4. Circumference of the front leg at the point where it meets the body.
